MIA! Updates!
Hey there,
Long time no post! I have regretfully left the face of fathom stagnant since the release of our first few t-shirts, but have no fear as from now on we will be regularly updating you with some really exciting stuff that we have coming up! Unfortunately right now I have nothing to show for the past month of activity (or lack there of), but let me tell you of a few note-worthy things coming very soon:
A new website! That’s right, no more half-assed website. We have a fully featured website on the way that will be much more interactive, easy on the eye and also a lot more seamless between the platforms we’re currently using. Said website will contain a few extra sections to browse through, including one which will hopefully contain some downloads, and also something that will cater for our newly endorsed bands.
What endorsed bands you say? Exactly! With the launch of the new website we will reveal some new additions to the fathom family who’s tunes will hopefully become familiar to your ears. If they don’t, well that’s your loss because we only take on board the best! With this addition, you should also keep your eyes open, because there will be ways you can get some fathom gear cheap, if you pay attention!
Something else you will recognize with the release of the new website, is the introduction of a brand new logo! We’ve been working closely with (the legendary) Steve Bonner for the past month or so to bring a new face to the brand! The project is almost drawing to an end and I’m very excited for the result, to say the least.
In the coming weeks we’ll be headed out and about with our good friend Trish (FWC Photo) to do a small photo shoot for the current release, and again for the the new release when it arrives! After which, we’ll be creating a look book for keepers sake, and it will be available online!
I know I just mentioned a new release, and you’re probably wanting more information. What I can say (for now) is to expect a new logo shirt, some new amazing illustrations done by more amazing artists (that will be announced in due time aswell), and also something warm - All in time for winter 2010.
That’s all I’ve got for now, but stay tuned, as we’ll have some information on the above updates in the coming weeks!
Thanks,
Blake Fathom.
